Abstract
Children are exposed to a number of problematic marketing practices in online games, mobile applications and social media sites which are not always understood by the child consumer. In- game advertising is popular with advertisers because it has a worldwide reach and allows for highly-targeted placements with a captive audience. Advertisers enjoy having the ability to control the entire user engagement and can be confident of getting Return on Investment .The review of literature across the world shows the use and potential of In game advertising in reaching children with advertising messages.
