Title

The Effect of Perceived Risk on Consumers’ Behavior to Adopt Mobile Banking Service in Palestine

Abstract

At the present time, raising the customer satisfaction, decreasing the budget and expenditure, and preserving the profit are what the banks are trying to do, by supplying the customers with several channels like mobile banking (MB). On the other hand in Palestine, no experimental researches have demonstrated so far the intentions of the customers to choose mobile banking as a delivery channel. So, this paper is introduced according to the theoretical principle of Decomposed theory of planned behavior (DTPB) model and this paper also suggests a comprehensive framework and the researcher can use this framework to check the intention to use mobile banking in the Palestine condition so we have a better knowledge and recognition of the attitudinal, and technology constructs that promote the dissemination of mobile banking in Palestine. 612 valid questionnaires were received, and the researcher used the structural equation modeling for the sake of proofing the hypotheses. Results demonstrate the direct positive effect of ATT, PBC, and SNs on intention concerning the usage of mobile banking in Palestine on the other hand; PR had a negative effect on intention. It is found that this result is consonance with the previous findings in the literature.
