The integration of computerized accounting systems (CAS) represents a transformative phase in digital accounting, profoundly influencing financial management and governance practices. This study examines the impact of CAS on financial performance and governance, emphasizing dimensions such as accuracy, operational efficiency, compliance, and transparency. Through a literature review, case studies, and primary data analysis, this paper uncovers the benefits and challenges associated with CAS adoption. The findings reveal that while CAS drives efficiency and enhances governance frameworks, its success hinges on proper implementation strategies, workforce readiness, and robust cybersecurity protocols.
