Abstract
The concept of ‘ The Uncanny’ has remained to be elusive. Different writers over the years have put forward their interpretations and understandings of the concept of the uncanny. Nicholas Royle in his seminal essay “The Uncanny” explains the uncanny in the light of few other concepts. This paper aims to put analyse the points dealt with by Nicholas Royle.
