A comprehensive investigation of the plants collected from the Pachamalai hills of Eastern Ghats in Tamilnadu. The proposed study was conducted to documentation of the common plants, medicinal plants, important plants and categorisation of plant species according to their uses. The medicinal information of plants knows that home tribal’s based on the interviews, questionnaires and group discussed with many local peoples with traditional healers. The plants names are identified confirmed through Rapinet Herbarium St. Joseph’s College, Trichirappallai. The total of 70 Families, 108 Genera and 116 Species collected from varies locations of pachamalai Hills in Tamilnadu. The plants are arranged by Bentham Hooker classification. Each and every plants are studied scientific name, family, local name, description, distribution, habit, flowering and fruitning.
