If women are making their contribution to the economic sector of the country, nowadays the number of working women is increasing. There is a situation where women have to work according to the needs of the family, such as household management, children's education, marriage, etc. Still, in rural areas, there is a situation where they get wages only for 4 months in a year and have to survive on meagre wages without any income for the rest of the days. But women from villages with easy access to cities are working in urban factories, while women from remote villages are migrating to cities and working in factories. Urbanization can be seen to affect such women in many dimensions. There is a need to focus on the problems faced by these women rather than work. This paper sheds light on the condition of women working in ready-made garment factories.
