Authentication using vociferation controlled system for smart homes using Raspberry Pi which presents the design of the low cost home automation system using the IoT(Internet of Things) technology along with the feature of speech recognition. It is the idea which corresponds to wide range of applications with single problem domain. The main aim is to make life easier by using home automation system wirelessly through IoT technology .wireless technology mobile devices are the effective common human resources available very common among everyone due to its user friendly interface, portability features and financial aspects. The aim of the paper is to control electronic home appliances by vociferation using Raspberry Pi 3 development board commands using Wi-Fi as communication protocol between Raspberry Pi and Android device. Raspberry Pi 3 becomes a better option for home automation via internet due to its feature of inbuilt Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and as it is auto-configuration it will enhance system security and maintenance of system software.
