Title

INFLUENCE OF SLANT ANGLE ON DRAG FORCE AND DRAG COEFFICIENT OF AN AHMED BODY THROUGH CFD ANALYSIS

Abstract

This analysis was conducted to check the influence of slant angles on the drag force and drag coefficients of Ahmed body which is used as a simulating tool for the analysis involving vehicles. To conduct the analysis, experimental data from ERCOFTAC was validated with the use of SOLIDWORKS Flow simulation tools, and thereafter modifications were made to the Ahmed body with the drag force and drag coefficients compared for each modification.
