In this work a novel method is designed to detect dangerous object under the chassis of vehicle using Edge detection technique. The technique is based on canny edge detector and texture analysis is done with the Gabor filter. The system is related to the supervised classification technique. Object detection is based on machine learning methods which require a learning phase. Training algorithm used to detect the bomb object from a set of images.
