QURANIC REVELATIONS : PATHWAY TO ESTABLISH PSYCHO SOCIAL HARMONY IN SOCIETY India is one of the largest democratic country in the world. India is going under numerous types of changes and problems within the country and from outside the country. Indian society has evolved through the ages and advancements have taken place in diverse fields. However, in every society there are socio-cultural issues that need to be addressed and tackled. Security of people, particularly of the vulnerable sections, such as women, children and the elderly people are social issues of major concern in the contemporary Indian society . Social issues (also social problem, social evil, and social conflict) refers to any undesirable condition that is opposed either by the whole society or by a section of the society. It is an unwanted social condition, often objectionable, the continuance of which is harmful for the society. It is often the consequence of factors extending beyond an individual's control, and is the source of a conflicting opinion on the grounds of what is perceived as a morally just personal life or societal order. All the social problems prevalent in any society have lot of psychological bearing ie : the root cause and consequence of problem lies in the psycho–social makeup of the person. Psychosocial epidemiology (that is, pertaining to the influence of social factors on a person’s behaviour, and to the interrelation of behavioural and social factors1) is a controversial field within epidemiology .A number of social scientists have given variety of solutions to the prevalent problems yet they still remain unsolved and unresolved. . Al-Qur’an is revealed as a book of hidayah (divine guidance). Here in this paper ,the prime objective of researcher is to compile Quranic verses dealing directly with social issues and also rendering reasonable solution to psychologically fix the problem. Generally, this paper attempts to develop a fair, balanced, and holistic understanding of social problems prevailing in present day society with their psychological bearings and also finding viable solutions for it.
