Title

A Soft Switching Bridgeless AC-DC Power Factor Correction Converter

Abstract

Abstract: A latest soft switching bridgeless power factor correction boost converter is that which discussed with other for the used as an applications of power supply and also as for charging of battery and it is able performed to be operated in two modes switching cycles of pulse width modulation and resonant mode switching. This converter uses the standard average current made control. As it is an bridgeless converter there is absence front-end of bridge and it operation is of continuous made of conduction so ,it can zero voltage made of conduction so ,for the all switches .the soft-switching that know bridgeless power factor that which helps for nearly reducing the switching losses. The output of converter operates with the control di/dt that which helps in decreasing the reverse-recovery losses. If arrive the converted with in the PWM signal and it is easy to control and here going explain detailed data regarding the power factor correction boost converter of zvs operation and stress detailed operation of the circuit components .experimental results are given for a 650w prototype at 150khz switching frequency. Universal ac input, and 400v dc output, the discussed converter with other shows about 1% better efficiency and decreases the temperature at full-load and 100vac i/p as compared to technically with the hard switched pfc of boost converter
