Title

Optical, Photoluminescence and Second Harmonic Generation of new Organic Crystal and its Characterization

Abstract

Organic nonlinear optical crystal of creatininium hydrogen oxalate monohydrate was grown from low temperature solution growth method at ambient temperature. The grown crystal was confirmed by single crystal diffraction(XRD) analysis. Optical properties were characterized by UV-Visible analysis and the lower cutoff wavelength was observed at 357 nm and the bandgap energy is found to be 3.36 eV. The Second harmonic generation (SHG) efficiency was tested and compared with standard KDP.
