Title

The Influence of Policy of Government of India on Import and Export of Sugar Industry

Abstract

Sugar is one of the maximum produced and traded commodities of the sector, which has a completely unique function as one of the most Government regulated commodities in home market, but with over 30 percentage of world production shifting in International change. Over 110 countries are indexed as sugar beet and cane manufacturers. Nearly 60 nations are indexed as net exporters. India is the second largest Sugar producing usa handiest after Brazil and is also one some of the important sugar exporting nations. India is the world’s largest purchaser of Sugar at 23.0 million metric lots (MMT) uncooked cost within the 2008-09 advertising and marketing 12 months. Human intake of Sugar in India is up 35 percentage from 10 years ago and double the consumption of 20 years ago. In reality in latest years, India has grew to become out to be a net importer of Sugar, because its home manufacturing has no longer been retaining pace with its growing home intake. Under the dependent business improvement policy, Sugar enterprise was a part of the five 12 months plans delivered in 1951 and has been beneath the direct ,manage of the Government ever considering that. This is creating mammoth issues to the Sugar industries in formulating advertising strategies which in flip have much impact on overall performance of Sugar industries which in the end affects the large cane growing farming network of the u . S . A .. The study of this paper discusses the Government regulations and their influences on Sugar import and Export from India. The paper also throws mild on the issues faced by using the Sugar Industries and Farming network.
