Indian society has always revered women in Hinduism. There is no question of superiority or inferiority between men and women. But the Dalit women are placed at vary bottom of India’s cast, class and gender hierarchies they supper form of discrimination as a Dalit, as poor and as women to be intrinsically impure and untouchables which sanctions societies exclusion and exploitation. Who have been exploited economically, mentally physically not only because they belong to the Dalit community but because they are only women. Not a single day passes with paper reporting on violation of rural Dalit women, without any fault of their own. In this paper an attempt has been made to highlight on the situation of rural Dalit women in Odisha and a focus has been made to analysis the crime against rural Dalit women in Odisha
