This research study was conducted to explore factors that are most likely to influence the investment decision of an entrepreneur. The objective is to examine the effects of several factors such as demographics (i.e., gender, age, education, and marital status), investment decision criteria (i.e., risk, repay, trends), and financial literacy level. The research also includes a comparative study of entrepreneurs with students, full-time employees and retired employees on the grounds of the factors most likely influencing their investment. The findings from this research provide an understanding of the various factors that affect investment decisions, motives behind the investment, common problems faced by an entrepreneur with regard of investment decisions, awareness of all the opportunities and a study on most of the commonly investment avenues available in the market
