The internet has become a vital part of the life today. It has been noted that a percentage of net users have been increased who do so in a compulsive and out of control manner. This compulsive behavior of users has given birth to the problem of internet addiction. Internet addiction, also known as cyber addiction, is a relatively new phenomenon that has not yet been fully recognized by the medical community. It is a part of series of new health problems in 21st century society. Problematic use of the Internet and new technologies commonly referred to as Internet addiction and is defined as a use of technologies or means of communication offered online which leads to difficulties for the individuals.
