Title

EFFECTIVENESS OF MULTIMEDIA ANIMATION PACKAGE IN BIOLOGY FOR ENHANCING ACHIEVEMENT OF SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract

This study aims to find out the effectiveness of multimedia animation package in biology for enhancing achievement of secondary school students. For this purpose, a sample of 80 secondary school students were selected. 40 students were grouped as experimental group and the other 40 students were grouped as the control group. A pre test in biology achievement is conducted for both the groups. After the pre-test, the experimental group is taught through animation package and the control group was taught through activity method. After the treatment, a post-test in biology achievement is conducted for both the groups. Analysis of the pre test and post test scores of both the groups revealed that multimedia animation package is effective in enhancing achievement in biology for the secondary school students
