Title

The Crime of Crimes- Analyzing the Nuances of White-collar Crimes in India

Abstract

White-collar crime is becoming a barrier for the nation, particularly emerging countries, as this may boost crime rates, which is not good for those nations. I hope to draw your attention to this important issue through this essay. High-status individuals have committed crimes frequently, and because of their reputation, it is less likely that anybody will bring charges against them. Additionally, they possess the financial resources they use to commit these crimes. The Indian government has taken several serious measures to address this issue, including establishing numerous authorities and organizations created solely for this purpose. In addition, the 47th Law Commission Report recommended that the crime of corruption is punished and that a fair punishment be inflicted on the offender due to the growth in corruption cases. There are numerous ways to commit white-collar crime, including blackmailing, fraud, scams, etc.Another sort of crime that low-status individuals typically engagein is white-collar crime, which primarily involves knowledge rather than physical force and may involve or has a low likelihood of including physical strength. We need to act quickly and decisively to reduce this kind of criminality. Despite government efforts, these crimes continue to occur because of the large population, a lack of education, and a lack of public awareness.
