Title

STRUCTURAL AND PHYLOGENETIC STUDY OF RecA, AlkB & ENDONUCLEASES AND THEIR ROLE IN MUTATIONAL DYNAMICS

Abstract

DNA repair proteins are important in influencing the fidelity of genomic apparatus of the cell and thereby affecting the mutational dynamics. Here we study the phylogeny and structural characteristics of DNA repair proteins in E.coli – RecA, AlkB & Endonucleases and understand their implications in mutational dynamics in E.coli.
