Title

A Review of Energy Efficiency Opportunities in Steel and Iron Industries by AC Motor Drive

Abstract

This paper presents energy efficiency opportunities in steel and iron Industries. Several load point is discussed where motor drives a load for a prolonged period of time. However, emphasis will be on AC motor drives running at steady state conditions in fractional load profile.
