Title

IMPROVING HARMONIC PERFORMANCE OF LOW VOLTAGE GRID BY USING MODIFIED CARRIER PWM CONTROL

Abstract

This article mainly deals with harmonic performance improvement of low voltage grid 230V, 50Hz system for single- phase quasi-z-source inverter. The regulatory bodies have precise tolerable harmonics level that are permit into grid and harmonic level have to be maintained well below 3% by the utilities. To improve harmonics profile, modified carrier PWM control technique is used in this article. The simulation results are obtained for modified carrier PWM control using MATLAB/SIMULINK.
