Title

Need of Intelligent Mechanized Robotic System to Clean the Garbage

Authors

Abstract

The modern day person uses many things as basic needs to live like food, clothes and shelter in a sophisticated manner. They use variety of things made from plastics, paper, electrical and electronic appliances. They consume food, rice, vegetables and chemicals (medicines). After the use all those should be disposed safely, without making them to be poisonous which will be hazardous for human beings. The cities and towns have more hospitals; they make more plastic and bio medical waste. The waste from these becomes polluted and creates problems to human health. The waste should be sent to recycling centers or degradation centers. All the materials do not have same method for recycling methods, different materials have different methods. The paper can be made into paste by adding water and grinding methods. This paste can be used for making packaging boxes. The plastic covers, materials can be made into pieces and sent to recycling units. The food waste should be sent to the units to make bio-gas. The bio medical waste should be buried in the ground. To do all these recycling or bio degradation methods, the garbage should separate while its collection from houses and streets. The municipalities presently are separating the garbage into wet and dry garbage only. The collection and separation of garbage into various classifications by human beings is not possible. So the need of using intelligent mechanized systems is essential. The system should have sensors, grippers, automatic lifters, containers etc. they should be able to separate the wet and dry. Then in dry they should be able to separate metals, nonmetals, papers, plastics. In wet garbage they should be able to separate food, green leaves, rice, bread, flowers. In this paper various methods to classify and identify the garbage will be discussed. A model of robotic intelligent mechanized system will be proposed
