MSME sector is the growth engine of an Economy as it accelerates the rate of Industrialisation and in that way plays most prominent role in economic growth. For the purpose, since Independence, Government of India is continuously trying to boost the sector by providing all possible help and support. Out of all the support measures, subsidy is very important as it involves public expenditure for public interest. That’s why success of subsidy programme is very important and henceforth its timely evaluation. Therefore the procedure involved in obtaining subsidy has proved to be very significant for the success of that scheme. If it is simple and easy, a lot of actual beneficiaries will get benefitted. In the present paper the researcher has evaluated that there is significant impact of procedure of Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) on the willingness of beneficiaries to avail such benefits.
