Title

Sustainable AgSio2 Catalyzed One-pot synthesis of 2,6-diamino-4-phenyl-4H-pyran-3,5-dicarbonitrile analogues.

Abstract

AgSio2 an efficient catalyst for the synthesis of 4-H-pyran derivatives (2,6diamino-4-phenyl,4H-pyran-3,5 dicarbonitrile analogues) from a one-pot, three component, condensation of aldehyde, Malanonitrile and 2-cyano acetamide at room temperature, in ethyl alcohol as solvent. This protocol has several advantages such as high yield, a simple work up procedure, low toxicity and easy recovery and reusability of the catalytic material. The heterogeneous catalyst has been readily prepared and characterized by means of BET, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), TEM and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The synthesized 4H-pyran derivative products were characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, 15N NMR and ES-HRMS.
