Tourism industry is one of the key economic contributors to the growth of the country. Entrepreneurship is a phenomenon that has been promoted by the country since the last two decades owing to its dignifying and magnifying nature towards the development of the country. Tourism entrepreneurship have also created many jobs and contributed to the rural development. The attraction to tourism entrepreneurship is reflected in its lifestyle offering and flexibility. The will power to overcome the challenges to start a new business however lies within the mindset of the entrepreneur himself. This study attempts to critically understand tourism entrepreneurship and different aspects and also briefly touches upon the problems faced the entrepreneurs.
