Probiotics are the non-pathogenic microorganisms which can increase the nutrients supple-ments level in the body by its cosumption . The final effects on health or physiology may be either direct or indirect through modification of the endogenous ecosystem or the immune response. The second potential mechanism may be that the immune response is enhanced by lactobacilli, leading to the observed clinical effect. Probiotics can also be used to reduce risk of certain cancers (colon, bladder), detoxify carcinogens, suppress tumors, lower serum cho-lesterol concentrations, reduce blood pressure in hypertensives, treat food allergies, improve urogenital health, and optimize effects of vaccines.
