Title

X-ray peak broadening analysis of Zinc oxide and Tin oxide nanoparticles prepared by Microwave assisted precipitation method

Abstract

The Zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) and Tin Oxide (SnO2 NPs) were synthesized by Microwave assisted precipitation method. XRD patterns of synthesized ZnO and SnO2 NPs exhibit hexagonal wurtzite and tetragonal rutile structure. We also investigate the crystallite development in nanostructure ZnO and SnO2 by X-ray peak broadening analysis. The lattice strain to the peak broadening in ZnO and SnO2 NPs were studied using Williamson-Hall (W-H) analysis. FESEM image shows that synthesized ZnO and SnO2 NPs were formed flower and spherical structure. Elemental composition was identified through EDAX spectra. Optical studies was determined through PL spectra.
