A study on the Parental Awareness regarding Education and Needs of Impaired and Normal Children

Abstract
The present study is designed to know about the parental behaviour and awareness of the needs and education of the impaired as well as the normal children. Descriptive survey method has been used here, The sample of 60 parents for the study was selected using quota sampling. For the purpose of the study, the investigator prepared a self-structured interview schedule. The data was analysed using graphical representations and chi-square. It was found that though parents are equally aware about the education and needs of both the impaired as well as normal children, preference was more in favour of the normal children.
