The objective of the study was to understand the library user behavior towards the factors such as 'Awareness of information sources and services', ‘Adequacy of information available’ and ‘Adequacy of information seeking’ among different courses of post Graduate students at KSRDPR University in Karnataka state. A study was conducted during the month of December 2018 among varied level of Post graduate students in KSRDPR University in Gadag city of North Karnataka. A pre designated questionnaires was administered during the study with a total sample size of 93. A five level likert scale was used for the responses collected through pre administered questioners. In the questioner nine different variables which represent the two broad factors that are’ Awareness of information sources and services of the library users’ and ‘Adequacy of information available in the library’ are asked to the respondents. The collected data was analyzed using ms-excel and SPSS tool. With a p value < 0.05 considered significant, a Z-test was applied for data analysis. After the analysis of the data findings revealed that there is a significant influence of above mentioned two factors on University library users. The study was concluded with the fact that, the library users are having positive opinion and happy about the current library services and are also having the awareness of all information sources and services provided by library.
