Fertigation is a crucial step in the plant development cycle and cannot be neglected if maximum productivity is expected to form a particular crop. Nutrients are vital substances which improve the plant health and yield same as the humans and thus their levels should be maintained during the whole crop cycle. Fertigation optimization lead to judicial use of the resources and technology can be a great boon in optimizing the whole process. In this paper chlorophyll, an effective indicator of nitrogen levels has been estimated using a chlorophyll meter. The aim of this paper was to achieve precise estimation without neglecting the incurring cost. A cheap and reliable alternative to the existing and costly equipment so that farming can be benefited from advancements of the technology.
