A comparative analysis of effect of legislative assembly elections on stock market

Abstract
This paper examines the impact of various legislative assembly elections on BSE sensex. This paper is an sincere attempt to do comparative analysis of impact of legislative assembly elections of 29 states and 2 union territories of India during UPA government and NDA government on BSE sensex . This study also tries to investigate the effect of these elections on BSE sensex. In order to derive inferences correlation and t-test has been used.
