Title

CONSUMER ATTITUDE TOWARDS SERVICES PROVIDED BY ORGANISED RETAIL STORES IN COIMBATORE CITY

Abstract

After industrial revolution the production scale of goods increased to large extend, leading to need of more customers for the goods then small grocery shop came in to existence. In this shop multiple categories of product were stock for the customer. Slowly this small grocery shops converted in “Departmental Store” and it was the actual beginning of organized retail store, many varieties of product were available in these departmental store, customer can see, touch and feel product before purchase it. In the retailing sector customer typically patronize multiple outlets because business is highly competitive, this stress that retailers are urged to find more innovative ways to provide added value services for their customer to gain a competitive advantage. Retailers need to create customer loyalty in order to maintain their customer relationship. This has lead to more focus on customer behaviors within organised retailing
