Title

QUALITATIVE INVESTIGATION OF PHYTO-COMPOUNDS FROM SELECTED TRADITIONAL HERBS SIMAROUBA GLAUCA AND ANNONA MURICATA

Abstract

Natures are gifted with diversity of medicinal plants and these plants holding variety of medicinal belongings. Such properties contributed by group of phyto-compounds present in it. Recent researches are focused to investigate the specific compounds from the medicinal plants. In our present study we investigated the presence of phyto-compounds from two traditional herbal flora. Aqueous extracts of Simarouba glauca and Annona muricata were subjected for GC-MS analysis. Different compounds was analysed and it was compared with standard compounds in NIST and Wiley libraries
