The increasing demand for the higher speed and advance services in access network requires a large bandwidth for the next generation services to the end users. Technologies based on optical fiber can easily achieve higher bandwidths and at the same time can reduce maintenance and repair cost. Optical Code Division Multiple Access (OCDMA) is one such important technique supporting many simultaneous users in shared media so as to increase the transmission capacity of an optical fiber. OCDMA codes are based on very narrow pulses and thus the effect of even small chromatic dispersion (CD) of the fiber link could be very severe due to pulse –pattern broadening.
