Title

PRODUCTIVITY LINKED COMPENSATION IN PHARMA INDUSTRY (A Study on Top Five Organizations in Telangana State)

Abstract

This paper reviews the literature in the area of importance of Productivity linked Compensation in Pharma Industry. The survey conducted on the employees of top five Pharma organizations(Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Limited, Divis Laboratories Limited, Granules India Limited, Aurobindo Pharma Limited, AMRI India Private Limited) in Hyderabad, Telangana State, India. In the analysis part, SPSS 17 version used to evaluate the relations among the variables. In addition, some statistical tools were applied simple frequency, percentages of demographic attributes and hypothesis testing on Productivity linked Compensation by factor Analysis. The study identifies that Pharma Industry employer has to upgrade compensation packages based on the employee productivity and performance in the organization. Three-fourth of the employees’ is happy with the ‘Overall satisfaction with the performance on incentive programme’ and ‘Management solicits feedback from employees on compensation’ in the Pharma industry.
