Title

FEEDBACK IN PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND ITS IMPACT ON TEACHERS’ EFFECTIVENESS IN B-SCHOOLS - AN ANALYTICAL STUDY

Abstract

The main intention of this paper is to understand the importance of feedback system ineducational sector and its impact on teachers’ performance in the B-schools. Feedbacks are often underrated but they tend to be the bottle-neck breaker between the students and teachers.They help students express themselves, let them reveal on what specific areas the teachers are good at and on the areas they need to improve. Consistent feedback in B schools keeps the teachers on their toes and pushes them to regularly work on their skills to better themselves, thereby paving way for the organization to develop. The present paper provides brief explanation on performance management system and its impact on effectiveness of teachers working in business schools. The paper includes statistical analysis such as ANOVA, Chi-Square and Correlation Test to identify the level of impact of feedback in PMS on teachers’ effectiveness.
