Title

IMPACT OF BRAND ASPECTS ON LUXURY CAR BUYING IN BHOPAL AND INDORE CITY

Abstract

Globalization and liberalization has resulted in the entry of several luxury car manufacturer in Indian market. Due to increase in the discretionary income level of the consumer and more focus on the social status, there comes a boon in purchasing of luxury cars as these are prestigious and status symbol. Brand plays a prominent role in the purchasing of luxury cars and owing a foreign brand luxury car is a status symbol. The automobile industry in India is expected to be the world’s third largest by 2025. This paper is focused to assess the impact of different brand related aspects on the buying behaviour of consumers. A sample of 300 respondents has been selected using purposive sampling technique and data is collected through structured questionnaire. This paper concludes that different brand related aspects has a significant impact on the luxury car buying behaviour of the customers in Bhopal and Indore city.
