Title

A Study of Impact of Digital Marketing on Indian consumers

Abstract

The marketing trends in today’s modern era are changing at a very fast pace and currently the trend has shifted to digital marketing from traditional marketing. Digital has become a part of our existence. From shopping apparel to groceries, fast food, furniture & getting laundry and household services delivered everything has gone online. Digital marketing is all about promoting a business,brand,product,service,facility using digital channels like Internet, website, blogs, social media platforms, video marketing, mobile marketing,apps, email marketing. The purpose of my present study is to investigate the impact of digital marketing on Indian consumers in comparison to traditional marketing. For this purpose two hypothesis were formulated. Online questionnaire was designed having 50 questions and was sent online through various social platforms, on random sampling basis. Two hundred respondents had answered the questionnaire and their opinions were sorted, analyzed and interpreted analytically and critically through scientific statistical methods. It was found that the growth of impact of digital marketing on Indian consumers, is increasing with higher pace than traditional marketing approach, now days.
