Title

AN INVESTGATION OF ARTERIAL CIRCULATION IN Catla catla (Ham.)

Abstract

Blood in a liquid connective tissue of living organisms. The flow of blood in whole body in all vertebrate is continues through a systematic way that is circulatory system. In vertebrates blood circulates through arteries and veins. Arteries carry purified blood and veins carry impurified blood. Arterial blood carried from heart to the different organs whereas venous blood carried from different parts of the organs of body to the heart. Present study deals in details about arterial network and the complete pathway of arterial blood circulation in catla-catla, a complete water breathing fish.
