Schiff bases are very good choice of ligands as they can form stable complexes with various metal ions. Schiff base metal complexes are significant due to their versatile applications in various fields. Among the metal ions zinc Schiff base complexes are very much important for their use in optoelectronic devices as zinc Schiff base complexes shows fluorescence properties. Besides zinc is an important metal ions in biological systems and zinc Schiff base complexes also exhibit antimicrobial as well as anticholitic properties.
