Security Council is the United Nation’s most powerful decision- making body all-over the world. To maintain peace and security internationally, it has been working together with super powers nations from the day of its establishment. With the passage of time, there must be some changes in the infrastructure in order to fulfill the evolving needs of the world. Many developing and powerful countries like India are looking for a leading role in the changing dynamics of International politics. The researchers have given the reasons that why there is need to expand the membership of the Security Council and why India should be permanent member with five others in the United Nation’s Security Council. A coin has two sides, so exactly what are the reasons that stops India to become permanent member of the Security Council. In future, whether India will be able to acquire permanent seat in the United Nation’s Security Council or not? With a message that there must be equal contribution from the entire corner of the world, those regions must be added which are left out.
