Knowledge Management is considered as a valuable resource for the organizations which accumulates the right knowledge that can be used at the right time in order to attain the pre-determined objectives that strive to improve organizational performance and productivity. Factors such as acquiring, storing, and sharing the knowledge have significant impact on the practices followed by the organizations. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the knowledge management practices while considering its effectiveness towards sustained performance and competitiveness among the organizations.
