Title

PHARMACOLOGICAL APPLICATIONAL OF QUINOLINE AND ITS DERIVATIVES

Abstract

Quinoline is a hygroscopic liquid that is colorless has a pungent odor and Darkens with age. It is soluble in alcohol, ether, benzene, and carbon disulfide and is sparingly soluble in water. Quinoline is a weak tertiary base. It forms salts in acids and exhibits reactions similar to benzene and pyridine, and can engage in both electrophilic and nucleophilic substitution (HSDB), Quinoline, also known as 1-azanaphthalene, 1-benzazine, or benzo[b]pyridine, is a heterocyclic aromatic organic compound. It has the formula C9H7N.
