Suicide in India is spreading among youth very rapidly, it is the challenge and concern to modern era.Suicide is the world's third biggestcauseofmortalityamongyoungadults.Thereisanincreasingthreatthat has grabbed the attention of think tankers in a culturallyand sensitive way. This paper investigates the epidemiological and demographic factors that contribute tosuicide in India, as well as suicide prevention strategies. Suicidal conduct is potentially unknown innocivilization.Furthermore,notimethroughouthistoryhasbeenobservedwhenthispuzzlinghumanpropensity was dormant. However, a variety of factors, including biological and sociocultural ones,influence the socio-demographic and other elements of this complicated behavior. Suicide researchmay represent not just the psychobiological features of suicidal people, but also their societal matrix.As a result, it was thought desirable to conduct a review on suicides in India in order to determinefeasiblemeasuresandremediesfor thisself-harmingbehavior.
