The interplay of power in politics and economics constitutes a complex puzzle, the unraveling of which is facilitated by game theory—a mathematical framework analyzing strategic interactions among rational decision-makers. This article explores key game theory concepts and their applications in political and economic domains. Examining international relations, election strategies, coalition building, market dynamics, bargaining, and resource allocation, the article illustrates how game theory enhances our understanding of decision-making processes. While providing valuable insights, challenges such as assumptions of rationality and perfect information are acknowledged. Despite criticisms, game theory remains an indispensable tool for decoding the intricate dance of power in the dynamic landscapes of politics and economics, offering a systematic approach to anticipating and comprehending strategic interactions in the pursuit of optimal outcomes.
