This study analyses researcher profile management tools and their role in the academic career of a researcher. The profile management tool is a tool that allows researchers to manage their research profiles, including their publications, grants, and other professional achievements. The researcher's profile is very unique and distinct. These tools can help the researcher to keep track of their progress and showcase their work to potential employers, funding agencies, and collaborators. The paper tries to indicate the methodologies and instruments utilized in establishing a research profile and the designated platform for its development. Furthermore, it endeavours to examine the involvement of academic librarians in crafting researcher profile tools, along with offering suggestions and guidance to enhance the digital presence of current researcher profiles.
