Title

INFLUENCE OF GANDHIAN PHILOSPHY ON INDIAN DEMOCRACY

Abstract

Democracy is a form of Government which is very popular and most effective, at the same time it is the most difficult form. India is a big country which fallows the democratic type of Government. In this majority of decisions are taken by the representatives who are chosen by the people. The representatives take major decisions pertaining to the development of the country. In India people have freedom of speech and expression. All these explain that democracy does not differentiate people on the basis of religion, colour, and caste. But at present there are lots of instances which can prove the inequality in democracy and also the misuse of democracy. The main reason for this is illiteracy, intolerance, violence ignorance and the government of the people which runs the country which is chosen by the people, for the people.
