The localization of regions which are not sensitive to the human visual system in an image is one of the most important parts of watermarking in multimedia objects. Traditionally, the localization of such regions is performed manually using segmentation or background subtraction. In this paper, we proposed an automatic localization method for finding embedding regions which are insensitive to the human visual system. Localization of the embedding region is done by using the convolutional neural network. The experimental results show that the accuracy of the proposed technique is above 95%. This proves the efficiency of the proposed method. We perform the training by using block selection method on Lenna (256×256) image by setting the threshold on the flatten level of pixels.
