Population Geography is the most important branch of geography today. This branch is concerned with the nature and man in general and their inter relationship in particular. In the very beginning of making the geographical ideas, the concept of nature and man has developed. This ideology has been persisting even today and it has been focused in the research frontiers. The land-man symbiosis has been highlighted in the various ways. A number of attempts have been made to explore and exhibit this relation, but since the character of the land has always been changing in time and space, scholar’s analysis also remained changing. The modest attempt to this research project follows the same trends having different result. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the various characteristics of population in the contest of Paschimi Champaran district. The present study also attempt to analyze the changing relationship in way for changing the time and growing population and its increasing pressure on land. This has influenced the overall socio-economic structure.
