The Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is comprised with chronic bronchitis and emphysema are the progressive lung diseases arise from various reasons like allergies, air pollution, respiratory infections, emotions, weather conditions, severe cough, sulfites in food and certain medications. The permanent cure for this disease is crucial at chronic stages and most of the medicines cannot able to cure this disease completely, it can be controlled by using some medicines and there is great challenge for making a permanent cure of COPD. This disease also controlled by following certain life style. The addition of specific herbs that have the properties to control the COPD in regular diet will also can cure this disease completely, as it is a common disease which affects the regular life style of an individual and finally lead to serious consequences there is a great responsibility in finding the cure for this condition. The aim of this study is to evaluate the diet in curing COPD. Secondly it also focuses on the herbs to be added with regular diet.
